This lot is a long distance from most of the sites. This concession run campground inside Pinnacles National Park is well managed and maintained. While dogs arenât allowed on trails, the campground road made for a lovely evening walk. They are very brazen. However, judging by their flight characteristics they were probably turkey vultures. We stayed in the "tent" side as we have solar so we don't need electric hook-ups. You could hike or ride up to Bear Valley visitor center but the trails were closed after that. Each campsite is pretty different, some have no shade, some have partial shade, so do check out the park's facebook page to see the pictures.
